Danielle E. Edwards, DPM is a knowledgeable and experienced board-certified podiatrist at Paragon Podiatry practicing in both our Manhattan location and our East Setauket location.
Dr. Edwards obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Food Science and Human Nutrition, specializing in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida, where she graduated with high honors and distinction.
Dr. Edwards went on to pursue a career in medicine, attending the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she obtained her doctorate. Dr. Edwards was awarded many scholastic awards and merit-based scholarships. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Podiatric Medical Review (PMR) and was an avid researcher with numerous publications. Afterwards, Dr. Edwards completed a comprehensive surgical residency program at Lenox Hill Hospital, where she was the Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Edwards has a passion and love for human health, nutrition and a whole-body approach to medicine. She has a strong belief in an integrative and synergistic way of practicing medicine. She is a proactive and high-performing professional committed to achieving the best possible outcome for each and every patient. When Dr. Edwards is not in the office or operating room, she enjoys a healthy active lifestyle including: running, yoga, peloton, and meditation.
